Learnt so much in a beautiful location.

点评：I did a little bit of painting (mainly self taught) about 10 years ago when off work for a few months. Now I've retired, I wanted to start sgain.
I looked at courses locally but this was much better value: all materials provided, less pupils on course, more intensive, wonderful location, sunshine, even drinks, coffee and nibbles.
I liked Lucienne's art, hence why I chose it. You wouldn't choose an art course run by Picasso unless you admired his style 😊.
So many useful tips and demonstrations on sketching, paint, colour mixing, light and shade, brush work etc. I learnt so much and became much more confident in how I paint.
Lucienne is clearly talented but also a very good, and patient, teacher.
Came back home itching to get my garage turned into a studio and to get started on some images I've been collecting in a "to paint" folder.
I looked at the first portrait I did when I started and I'm tempted to repeat it using all the techniques and tips I've come away with.
Conil itself is a beautiful location and warm and sunny, even in November. I visited Seville, Cadiz and Jerez too, so a holiday as well.
Perhaps in a year or two I'll go back for an improver course. Once I've got a number of canvases under my belt.
