点评:I like to go to the Shrine to hear Mass in Polish. Though I don't speak it, it was my grandparents' and father's native language. The people here are always reverent and attentive. I find the stained glass windows in the upper church to be amazing, but others don't seem to like them as much. My favorite piece of art is "The Last Supper" on the left side altar. Before the tabernacle was restored to the main altar, this is where the tabernacle was housed. The lower church is modeled after Jasna Gors, quite beautiful. And the Shrine has restored the stained glass windows of the now lost-forever St. Laurentius Church in Philadelphia. A definite European vibe on site, the volunteers, staff, and religious do a great job. It's not a showy touristy site, just a nice folksy place to meditate and pray. Oh, and to see the magnificent view of the Doylestown region from the front entrance to the church.
