点评：Our family came to stay at the General's Quarters for a week's holiday. As I was unaware of the type of property we were booked into as it was a surprise, I was amazed that somewhere so beautiful could be holiday accommodation. The General's Quarters has enough space for everyone to find a quiet spot, but also be together en masse. Everywhere was clean and comfortable. There's large grounds to explore, and a walled garden area exclusively for the General's Quarters, which has ample outdoor seating available in the loggia. Even though the house is an old listed building, it was warm with plentiful hot water available. The grounds are ideal for well behaved dogs, with different walks to follow. The peacocks are an added attraction. We are very happy that Rowena and James now own the property again, and wish them all the best for future renovations. The ability to holiday in such an old house is unusual, and we appreciate the work involved in having this part of the house as public accommodation. I would definitely recommend this whole estate for holidays. Tracy, the accommodation manager was very helpful too, and we hope to revisit in the future. Great work guys.
