函馆山缆车的点评
点评：Taking Ropeway is always a fun part of ascending Japanese mountains and we have tried more than 20 such trips, from Tateyama, Kurodake, Rokko, Usu, Insas, Onomichi, Kinku, ++
From the Motomachi area the base station is a easy walk. Knowing that this is a very visited Night View site we planned for earlier 5pm ride. It was a Tuesday evening and not crowdy yet as we paid 1800 yen for to-fro trip.
The 3 mins aerial lift journey that starts from the Mt. Hakodate base sta. provides a super view of Mount Hakodate, lotsa of green and flower beds underneath. We understand this was an upgraded gondolas that can easily seats more than 60 pax. Everyone will try to squeeze to the sides and rear for that fantastic views on the approach to the top as well as at the summit.
Always amongst the top 3 most heavily used aerial lift line in Japan the Facilities at the top include the large observation platforms, souvenir shops, cafes & restaurant.
The view from Mt. Hakodate was awarded 3 stars by Michelin for offering one of the three best views in Japan. The glittering night view of Hakodate with a sweeping view of Hakodate City and the surrounding ocean and mountains atop Mount Hakodate is NOT to be missed!
