Give Gerupuk a miss, there are sooo many better and more bueatiful places in Lombok.

点评：Surfing at Gerupuk is a complete joke — and not in the fun, laugh-it-off kind of way. The place is overcrowded, overpriced, and polluted, and the whole setup feels like one big tourist trap.
The lineup is an absolute mess. It’s packed shoulder-to-shoulder with beginners who don’t know how to control their boards or follow any surf etiquette. If you value your board (or your safety), think twice — it’s only a matter of time before someone dings your gear or sends a loose board flying at your head.
And then there’s the boat situation — it’s borderline extortion. You have to pay for a boat just to get to the waves, every single time, and the prices are inflated way beyond what’s reasonable. It quickly adds up, and for what? To surf in water that looks like a cup of coffee and smells like it came straight from the sewer.
Seriously, the water is disgusting — murky brown, full of rubbish, and likely to give you a tropical ear infection or worse. You’ll be paddling through a constant soup of floating trash: plastic, food waste, and who knows what else. It honestly feels like surfing at the edge of a rubbish dump.
To top it off, many of the local surf shops and so-called “guides” are little more than scammers. Boards mysteriously come back damaged or swapped, “rentals” are overpriced for low-quality gear, and anything left unattended may as well be gone. It’s sad, but theft and dodgy business practices are rampant — you’re treated like a walking ATM, not a guest.
There are so many better places to surf in Lombok and throughout Indonesia. Cleaner, friendlier, less crowded, and with a much better vibe. Gerupuk is just a cash grab with trashy water and a sketchy scene.
Do yourself a favour: skip Gerupuk. It's not worth the hype, the money, or the risk.

在龙目岛和整个印度尼西亚，有很多更好的冲浪地点。更干净、更友好、人更少，而且氛围也好得多。Gerupuk 只是一个圈钱的平台，水质脏乱，景色简陋。
给自己一个机会：别去 Gerupuk 了。它不值得这么炒作，不值得花钱，也不值得冒这个险。
