Mt. Kilimanjaro and Safari - trip of a lifetime!

点评：We just completed a successful Mt. Kilimanjaro experience followed by a 5 day Safari with Kili Treks. Wilfred was very helpful and communicative in the planning and preparation. We took the Umbwe Route and added an extra acclimation day. The entire Kili Treks team was top notch! Our head guide (Prosper) and assistant guide (Paul) were supportive and encouraging along the way. The chef (Fred) and waiter (Rasheed) pampered us, while the amazing team of porters lugged everything up and down the mountain, including our tents, fresh food, and a private toilet. And we successfully reached the summit! We highly recommend this operation. We saw many other tour operators on the mountain and we always felt fortunate to be with Kili Treks!
After the Mt. Kilimanjaro experience, Kili Treks connected us with our Safari Guide for the next 5 days, Temba. Temba was extremely knowledgable and we learned so much from him over the five days, as we enjoyed multiple lion and cheetah sightings, and even a leopard/lion joint encounter. Temba's driving was first rate as well: many other safari trucks were getting stuck in the mud and Temba always effortlessly navigated the tricky muddy roads. We saw loads of giraffes (and giraffes fighting), elephants, zebra, warthogs, wildebeest, ostrich, monkeys, and even the elusive rare black rhino! It was the perfect way to learn, relax, and unwind after the Mt. Kilimanjaro adventure, so we highly recommend booking the safari with Kili Treks as well. Thanks again! Andrew & Kelly
