Koryo Tours的点评
点评：This was my second tour with Koryo. Having been to the DPRK in 2016, I already had a great experience with Koryo. When I was looking for tours to the 5 Stans, this option was top of my list. After reaching out to Koryo in November 2025, I booked the trip almost straight away. I'm glad I did as it was fully booked.
Throughout the year wait for the trip we had frequent communication from the tour organiser, planner and lead Rich Beal. This made me feel very comfortable with prep for the trip as well as being reassured I made the right choice of tour company.
As for the tour itself it was a memory that will last with me for the rest of my life. The tour was meticulously planned, considering the location of the sights, the best order to travel the countries for optimal traveller experience and the choice of things to see and do.
Rich was the perfect tour guide. His knowledge and experience in the region is second to none. Navigating some of the borders or local rules is no mean feat and without his experience we may have had lots of challenges.
We had individual country / city specialists for each country and this provided even more in depth learning and experiences for us. I think this is one thing that differentiates this tour from others.
I found that Rich had very similar interests to me around soviet history and architecture and so that made the experience even more exciting for me. He went out of his way to help me (and others) find things that related to our interests to make sure we got the most out of the experience.
Rich is running another tour to the Caucasus early in 2026 and some of the group have already booked on it. I would have done the same, had I not already travelled
there.
I will 100% be travelling with Koryo and Rich again and anyone reading this review unsure what tour company to go with, rest assured you're in safe hands with Koryo and Rich.
