点评：We arranged for a visit over email to Farneto del Principe Winery while passing through on a long drive, simply hoping for a chance to stretch our legs and have a nice experience. What we received was far beyond anything we could have imagined. Giulio welcomed us with such warmth and generosity, arranging a lunch that turned out to be the best overall meal of our three weeks in Italy. Afterward, he led us on the most genuine, heartfelt winery tour and tasting we’ve ever experienced—sharing the story, passion, and tradition of this incredible family run business.
The wines were so outstanding we ended up purchasing nearly $1,000 worth before leaving, and we would gladly do it again. Giulio’s hospitality and the unforgettable experience at Farneto del Principe made this a highlight of our entire trip. If you are anywhere near Altomonte, do not miss this gem.
