Unwelcoming and noisy

点评：Unwelcoming as in one has to push through what I assume are regulars and their dog who were congregated at the door and were reluctant to move.
Bar is not customer friendly either. I am wondering if that is because every expense seems to have been spared in furnishing this establishment for the comfort of its clientele. Mish mash of furniture most people would put on the tip. Most comfortable seating cane conservatory furniture c1985.
Obviously aimed at younger people from that point of view or knowledgeable beer drinkers who do not really care about comfort or elegant surroundings. And judged from the noise (in a room with horrendous acoustics) this is exactly the customer base they want and do attract.
Not for a pair of fuddy-duddys like us who like to go out for a nice quiet drink in pleasant and elegant surroundings
