点评：I'll be honest, I very very rarely write reviews. It's even to the point where I could count the fingers of one hand how many reviews I've written, and this might even be the first I've written on Tripadviser.
However, Barton End Stables is such a incredible company, with such fantastic teachers, and such a helpful, hard working team with an incredibly committed owner, that I have to write here to say just how much appreciate the work of the team, horses and company.
I first started going to Barton End because I wanted to surprise my then-girlfriend (now fiancé) by learning to ride, and a local farm supplies shop had recommended them as the best of very few places that are even able to teach men horse-riding (many don't bother having horses big enough for even average-sized men to ride). When I started having lessons there, accessing via the very slick and easy-to-use online booking system, I was quickly able to start getting on a horse with teachers who were able to bring me up from complete beginner to cantering in less than a dozen lessons. I rode on a few horses, all of which were bomb-proof. They have been consistently helpful, flexible and accommodating.
When I then wanted to plan something to surprise my partner, Barton End quickly jumped on board, helping me plan, organise and make a fantastic surprise of a day. I still can't get over how much they did to make sure that it is one of the most memorable days of our lives.
My fiancé is a considerably more experienced rider than I am, and she has also really appreciated how high a level they are able to train to. I really look forward to going on more of their beautiful hack routes and enjoying the gorgeous local scenery on their excellent horses.
