点评:We caught the 99 bus from Cavtat to Cilipi at a cost of 5 euros each single journey.
Bus journey toon approx 25mins.
On arrival had to pay a further 11 euros each to enter onto the central square. This includes a free glass of sweet wine & museum entry.
It is a nice square with church, some tourist stalls, cafe & toilet. All pretty but not much to do.
Each Sunday they have a traditional dance / song song which is good to see the local culture but dragged on a bit.
We walked back to Cavat, following the red circle signs posted at various intervals. We are in our late 50’s early 60’s & was easily manageable but require trainers at least. Sometimes the route is unclear but can’t really get lost.
It was mentioned about snakes & we saw 3 on route which was a shock / surprise. The advice is to carry a long stick to deter them which we did. It certainly made us quicken our pace.
It took 2hrs & was 5.5 miles. The scenery isn’t brilliant along the route but is very quiet & peaceful (we passed 4 people)
The cool pint of lager on reaching Cavat was beautiful.
