Hacienda La Mesa的点评
点评：Hacienda La Mesa Coffee Farm was, by a million miles, the best place we stayed in Colombia. We liked it so much, we got engaged to be married there! We intended to stay two nights and added more because it was sooooo nice.
Where to begin? Andres, Ana, Noemy and Hersine make you feel like you are a part of their family. Andres is a wealth of knowledge on coffee and a genuinely lovely person (the same with his wife, Anna). The food, cooked by the beautiful Noemy, is absolutely delicious - again, the best we had in Colombia (lovely chicken and rice, soups, salads, arepas, fish, chicken, - all sooo good!). The dogs - Lola, Mango and Bosco, are super cute. The bed is the comfiest best, with crisp white sheets and the best pillows. The house is set in beautiful grounds overlooking the coffee farm. The bedroom is decorated tastefully and paying homage to the original architecture of the house. The bathroom is modern, clean and has hot water. Every detail has been considered and thought about. The guest's every need is catered for. Last but not least - the coffee! Perfect. We had a private tour of the coffee farm, during which we learnt so much we truly felt we understood the coffee industry. We also had a coffee tasting and a demonstration on how to make a cup of coffee correctly.
We wish Andres y Ana all the best and hope one day to return.
