点评:Hacienda La Masa was by far the standout of our trip. The thought, care and love that is poured into this place by the owners, Andreas and Ana, is evident in its every aspect. We were fortunate enough to get a full tour of the farm and we were blown away not only by the beauty of the landscape but also by the sustainability measures and regenerative processes that had been introduced across the farm. Incredibly inspiring to see!
We were able to see the full lifecycle of a coffee 'bean' from its germination in the nursery to its final destination as delicious freshly ground cup of coffee.
We also were also treated to a mouthwatering traditional Colombian lunch (frijoles, plantain, chicharrón, guacamole, salads, and cuajada con melado for desert) from the vantage point of the immaculately restored Hacienda that overlooks the surrounding valleys and coffee farms.
We brought back lots of coffee for our friends and family and it felt great to support the farmers implementing the changes our food systems need, while producing a first rate, delicious product.
Definately worth including in your itinerary. 10/10
