Get there super early to avoid having nowhere to park!

点评：So we decided to head to Geirionydd on the hottest day of the year so far, this was probably the first and only time we will make this mistake again. Unless we were to aim to arrive by 9am latest (NO JOKE) Single track roads mean it is extremely difficult when there is oncoming traffic, cars were parked in "passing laybys" meaning at several points myself and another car came face-to-face and we had no way of passing each other, and I had to very dangerously reverse on an already very narrow road when driving forward. More enforcement to not park in laybys needed. Many cars also parking up the grass verges which also prevented cars to be able to pass each other
There are 2 ways in and out of Geirionydd, I think it would be much better if the roads were 1 way to avoid soooo many altercations with drivers because there would be many stand offs as to who would give in and reverse first when coming face-to-face with another car.
Only reason this has been given a couple of stars is it's scraped some back because the views and lake itself is beautiful and one of the best I have paddle boarded in.
