Red Carpet Coastal Walk的点评
点评：We walked from Rapallo to Portofino on this "path" ~ it was a fun thing to do and most of the views were amazing, BUT please know there is no red carpet. We followed Google Maps and we had no problems navigating and, after a while, you will see other people walking as well. From Rapallo to Santa Margherita there is considerable walking next to traffic on narrow sidewalks, so just know that ahead of time. IT GETS BETTER! It was nice to walk through the waterfront of SML and continue on the path towards Portofino which really does have amazing views. When you are getting closer to Portofino, you cross the road to the "Walk of Kisses" path which is clearly marked and,for about a mile, you walk on a paved/brick path through some forest as it leads you to Portofino. It ends at the Divo Martino church and you can walk down into Portofino. I have to admit, Portofino is beautiful, but it's not much to walk around and definitely over-priced for a meal. I'm glad we went once and we didn't feel the need to go back. We took the regional bus from Portofino back to SML and it was the one mode of transportation I thought was sketchy. You are cram packed into a bus for about 15 minutes. We decided to get off early in SML because it was just too packed for my liking. We walked a few more minutes to the Margherita-Portofino train station to get back on a train to Rapallo. Overall, a great experience - just know there is no red carpet and it gets better as you leave the traffic areas. I would do it again!
