Fantastic visit to Perinet for the harvest festival

点评：We visited Perinet for the 2025 harvest festival and it was an unforgettable experience. We had never been there before, but it turned out to be a place where the human team stands out as much as the winery and its wines.
We were welcomed with a small snack and then had the opportunity to tour the vineyards with Toni, Perinet's winemaker, from whom we learned more in three hours than we would have in weeks in any advanced wine course. His knowledge, explanations, and ability to explain everything, adapting to the visitors' level of understanding, were fascinating.
We were able to harvest for a while. Then we followed the grapes to the winery, where they let us into the laboratory, explained all the processes related to winemaking, and we could see the grapes firsthand in the steel tanks undergoing fermentation. They let us participate in aerating the tanks and in different punch-down techniques. We were able to taste the wine at different stages of fermentation; from a simple must, still almost unfermented, to much more complex wines that would soon be transferred to barrels.
Then they took us to the cellar, where we calmly discussed barrels, wine maturation, and a myriad of other interesting details. This was followed by a visit to the bottling plant and finally a meal where we tasted their best wines on multiple occasions.
We did the entire visit with our 7-year-old son. We didn't know if he would enjoy it, but the Perinet staff made him feel like a star at all times, and he enjoyed it as much, if not more, than we did.
Perinet is a place to go to enjoy a great visit, good wine, and magnificent hospitality in Priorat.
