Very pretty place to go on a Road Trip
Painted Hills的点评
点评：We made the trip from Bend on our Oregon Road Trip last summer. The drive there was half the fun. Once you get there, you will see some of the painted hills as you drive in and from the overlook. You will want to drive back to the Painted Cove Trail, which is very pretty. I will say, it is a lot smaller than I was expecting. the Painted Cove Trail would take 10-15 minutes if you just walked it. The overlook as excellent views into a valley.
I know there is more to this park than what you can see from the road, but from places you can drive too, you can knock this out in a few hours and move on. Areas of Zion and the Badlands National Parks are much more elaborate, which is why I knock this down to 4 start.
It is definitely worth stopping at on you travels and a must if you are a National Park Geek like me, but temper your expectations.
