点评:The place closes at 4:30 pm on the dot - Not 5 pm! The sign outside the site indicated the hours are 10 am to 5 pm. We did not access the website and traveled 5 hours from the Rio Grande Valley. We arrived at 4:30 pm only to be told (not very politely - very sternly) we were too late to even look at anything. The staff said they walk out at 5 pm and close everything at 4:30. The sign on the door says 5 pm but in very small print...last admission 4:30. We went to visit General Zaragoza's birthplace (sign said 5 pm close), and the staff member chased everyone out at 4:45 pm. Luckily, we drove around the outside and noticed a large door to the inside open. We stopped to look inside. A nice gentleman who was with the reenactment group gave us a short history account of the site. We were unable to visit the chapel, but we could see the structures and surrounding court yard. Because of this lovely gentleman, our visit was not a total bust! This may be a wonderful place
However, arrive early!
