A bit disappointing 😞

点评：Booked here for a Christmas dinner, but was a bit disappointed. On arrival we told a member of staff we had booked a Christmas dinner, she told us to follow her though to the other area of the restaurant at the side. As we waited another member of staff (I think she was the manager) said, "what do you want?" We told her we had a table booked, she took us through the area and said, "this must be yours if there's three of you". A bit rude, just like she wasn't bothered, no manners!
We were sat in an area with others having Christmas dinner and was told to go to the carvery and tell the chef what we were having. Their Christmas menu offered turkey crown, salt and pepper crusted beef and veg options. This was supposed to be served with a large selection of vegetables, mash and roast potatoes etc
Basically it was just a carvery, we expected to be served at our table with the vegetables in dishes for us to help ourselves. The beef wasn't salt or pepper crusted and there was no sprouts or red cabbage as stated. The roasts were supposed to have rosemary seasoning on but didn't. This 'Christmas ' dinner wasn't any different from any roast dinner I've had before from a carvery. Our dessert and coffee was served at our table after we asked for it.
We've eaten here previously on a Sunday and the carvery had been better.
I wouldn't book here again for a Christmas dinner.
