Steve and team really friendly and helpful
Grand Union Narrowboats的点评
点评：We rented Balmoral for a short 4 night break with our children 16/16/20 years old. The boat was a good size for the five of us, although you can sleep up to 8 that might have been a bit on the cosy side. Steve and his team were incredibly attentive in their training and familiarisation with the boat, and met up with us (and another crew) at our first locks for more tuition the following day.
The kids loved working the locks, and whilst navigating the 3km Blisworth tunnel was a little daunting for a novice skipper, it all added to a great adventure.
Several nice pub meals en-route, and our dog's nose never stopped twitching at the ever changing wildlife we passed through (swans, herons, geese, cows, sheep and even a large terrapin basking on a rock).
Altogether a really good communal holiday for us and our older children.
