Grand Union Narrowboats的点评
点评：We had a great long weekend care of Grand Union Narrowboats.
The Boatyard is pretty easy to find just off Weedon High Street. When we arrived pretty much as planned at 3pm, our paperwork and boat were already to go.
We were novices at canal boating, but we got such a good tour and instruction session with Emily that we soon had everything covered and got the hang of steering the boat really quickly. Once we were moving, Steve joined us onboard and show us how to operate the canal's locks, and after a few locks we were dab hands at that too.
The boat itself was so well kitted out. Two deck areas, a living area, a well equipped kitchen, a shower room, two toilets, one double bedroom and one twin. Everything was clean and tidy and worked well. The water tank on the boat is huge - there was always enough water for three people to have showers every day, and use the kitchen etc.
Travelling along the canal was great fun. It's not just for old farts, it's fun for anybody. Especially when you get to stop at pubs for lunch and dinner. And Grand Union Narrowboats were superb.
