The best guide in Sri Lanka – our trip wouldn’t have been the same without Dam

点评：We contacted Dam months before our trip to Sri Lanka and from the very first message he was absolutely incredible. We shared with him what we had in mind, and he immediately replied with suggestions, improvements and even sent us a full day-by-day PDF itinerary within days.
Until the day of our arrival, Dam stayed in touch with us to make sure everything was perfectly arranged: hotels, tickets, activities, airport pickup, timing… everything. And when we finally landed in Colombo, there he was waiting for us with the warmest welcome!
We spent 7 days travelling with Dam (and Sam) in a super comfortable van, and honestly, the experience wouldn’t have been the same without him. He recommended the best restaurants in every city, took us to the most beautiful places across Sri Lanka, and explained the historical and cultural background of each location with so much passion and knowledge.
Having a guide in Sri Lanka is important, but having Dam is a game-changer. He is the most attentive, caring and genuinely helpful person you could meet. And on top of that, he’s also the best photographer in Sri Lanka (and probably beyond!) 😅
Our route with him was perfect:
Colombo → Sigiriya → Kandy → Ella and Udawalawa National Park (amazing safari!)
Every step of the way, Dam made the experience richer. We visited local villages, learned about daily life, took part in a cooking class, explored historical sites, enjoyed rice & curry (and curry & rice!), visited temples and even found time to go out at night for drinks and have fun together. Basically we discovered places we would never have found on our own.
In short: coming to Sri Lanka is wonderful, but coming with Dam as your guide is essential.
Our trip would not have been the same without him. He is, truly, the best of the best.

每一步，Dam 都让我们的旅程更加丰富多彩。我们参观了当地村庄，了解了当地人的日常生活，参加了烹饪课，探索了历史遗迹，品尝了米饭和咖喱（还有咖喱饭！），参观了寺庙，甚至晚上还抽出时间出去喝几杯，一起玩乐。总之，我们发现了许多自己永远也找不到的地方。
简而言之：来斯里兰卡旅行很棒，但一定要有 Dam 作为你的向导。
