Oars Grand Canyon的点评
点评：My wife and I, along with 3 other couples did the first 90 miles of the Colorado River for 7 days/6 nights. It was an amazing trip that was made possible because of the crew. They were each and together just great humans who were great at their jobs, which was to teach us, host us and lead us down the river safely. It was a great team.
Ross, Ned, Russell and Spoon were the dory captains while Katie, Maddie and Rose captained the baggage rafts. Chris was the awesome “assistant”.
It was awesome to sleep under great stars, have no connection, learn as much about this beautiful wonder. Our timing led to great weather - we launched Sept 5th.
The highlights - stars, rapids, food at camp, the guides, great friends, new friends, side canyons, wildlife, being present, guides stories/readings.
The dory is the ONLY way to go. You need to read the Emerald Mile before booking the trip and you will understand.
