点评：We just completed a private charter from Lees Ferry to Pipe Creek with Amber Shannon as our trip leader and an incredible group of guides — Mary, Ally, Lindsey, Tony, Ryan, Alexa, and Camryn. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime, life-changing experience.
From start to finish, the trip was brilliantly organized. Joy helped us feel well prepared with excellent communication beforehand. On the river, every guide brought their unique knowledge, passion, and heart — whether it was geology, conservation, rafting history, native cultures, or simply sharing a song under the stars. The energy, teamwork, and love of the canyon shone through every moment.
Amber’s leadership was outstanding — we bonded over deep conversations, shared laughs, and her presence made me feel safe, seen, and inspired. I had some anxiety before the trip due to a bad rafting experience in the past, but this crew helped me feel calm and present every step of the way.
We saw condors, hiked breathtaking side canyons, shared delicious meals, and made lasting memories. I came home changed — more connected to nature, more grounded, and deeply grateful.
If you’re even considering this adventure: go. And if you’re lucky enough to have this team guiding you — you’re in for something extraordinary.
If you do decide to go, carefully think through what you decide to pack. You need a lot less than you think because everything dries so quickly. Definitely bring the rain-gear and layers but if you're a couple, share a day-pack and toiletries to save weight. I overpacked a bit but still made it to the top of the hike. Challenging trek but VERY satisfying.
