Ok experience, wouldn't rush back
Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail的点评
点评:Choose to do the nature trail as I'd read it was well maintained and easily accessible, disappointed upon arrival in Clapham that you had to pay for the car park, so we found a space on the roadside.
Entrance to the nature trail was £2.50 which pays for the maintenance and up keep of the trail, there was meant to be a shorter circular walk but what with the recent Storm Amy the fields looked quite wet so we just walked there and back along the main path.
We walked upto the caves, notsure what to expect and unsure whether our dog or my partner could cope with walking around them. We paid the extra £15 each to visit the caves, which was a self guided tour, reading from a script as to what each point was.. Think in total £17.50 each was alittle expensive for what was there, wouldn't do again.
There was a cafe at the caves entrances which only sold hot drinks, ice creams. crisps etc but no toilet facilites.
We were both slightly disappointed, both wishing we'd done the White Scar Cave instead, as it was a similar price and a guided tour.
Like the other review says if visiting, avoid the entrance fee and join the path behind the cafe. The waterfall outside was worth a look
