Nice resort but noisy accommodation

点评：We spent two weeks at Regal Vistas. The positives were that the unit is spacious and the King bed was very comfortable. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and the grounds around the units are well kept. We were told that our unit was one of those that had been refurbished and to an extent it had been since the last time we visited a year ago. The sofas were comfortable and seemed new. The kitchen area remained as it was and many of the kitchen utensils were tired and needed to be replaced. The big downside for us was having noisy neighbours. There is a connecting door between the two units and no sound proofing. There really needs to be a door into the living area to avoid this, not everyone wants to listen to someone’s else’s music and loud conversations! The other thing I found annoying was having to get the parking pass from the sales person. She was very pushy and tried to get us to commit to coming for a ‘free’ breakfast plus financial incentive. We knew this was a time share gimmick so we declined but it took some time to get this through to her. Overall we enjoyed our holiday but noise was a problem. Anyone who visits and enjoys good coffee and cake should try Moxie 33, it’s excellent and the people are lovely. Just a couple of miles from the resort on the way to Harrisonburg.
