Be wary of car park at saltdean Lido

点评：The actual Lido with the gym pool cafe etc are 1st class. The problem.is the car park now run by Euro Car parks. Lido users member of gym etc can park for free by validation by entering car reg no on tablet in reception. This was done on every visit. On a visit in June the tablet was not on show on asking one of the elderly volunteers who man the reception desk I was told they were not using the system at that time due to others abusing system. Approx 2 weeks later I hod parking ticket from Euro car parks for £100. I appealed but they replied that need some documental evidence from the Lido . I visited the Lido and asked for this and even though they confirmed I was on the system for being at Lido they could not give me a confirmation I required and denied that any of the volunteers would say not to enter reg no. On my recent visit the reg no tablet was still hidden away.
So my advice is do the visit the Lido but be extremely cautious about parking there as there is definitely a clear lack of consitance advice being given
