Spa at Ye Olde Bell的点评
点评：This spa is special - a real treasure. It's not in a big hotel complex and I think that gives the personal experience.
The first impressions of the spa was how spotless and clean it was. Everything worked (from the lockers to the spa facilities). I have been to a few spas where, disappointingly, something was broken or required fixing.
The other thing that impressed me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Maybe its a Northern thing, but they were all chatty, genuine, focused on making our day special. I didn't feel any aloofness that you tend to get south of Northampton.
My friend and I booked the '1 Night Dreamy Spa and Stay Break'. This includes a 60 minute spa treatment. We opted for the Phytocare Baobab Ritual. It was the best massage I have ever experienced. The massage tables were heated, wide and very comfy. The massage therapists walk around the area barefooted. I asked them why and they said to keep noise to a minimum. Quite 'zen' if you ask me.
We had a 2 course lunch which was absolutely delicious and spent the afternoon in a gorgeous suntrap outdoors on the sunbeds (see the photo). A superb way to decompress and enjoy the Spring sunshine.
I would recommend this spa - its fantastic!
