点评：As British tourists, travelling with Australian relatives, on a first visit to Barossa Valley we have had a wonderful day with Timo of A Wine Wagon being driven around this wine producing area. We think we have had excellent value for money being driven around the area and visiting wineries and other venues in the Valley.
Timo picked us up, and delivered us back to, our motel room and we had the pleasure of two sampling session at wineries before lunch. Lunch was taken at a superb venue, Lamberts, where more tasting was available during lunch which, in itself, was a delicious cold tray of meats, cheese, pickles with the usual additions of bread and olives.
On our way back to our motel we stopped at a lookout with wonderful views over the Valley and, afterwards, Maggie Beer's restaurant for refreshments whilst watching turtles and diving birds on the adjoining lake.
Timo has many connections across the Valley and his choice of venues will depend on your wishes so wouldn't necessarily be the same as ours was. He will tailor each trip to suit his customers. We left it to him as we have never been here before.
We were not disappointed and found his commentary both interesting and entertaining. We would have no hesitation in recommending A Wine Wagon to tourists in the Barossa and Eden Valleys relying on a local guide to avoid drinking and driving. We hope you enjoy his informative commentary too.
