点评：Ok this could be a bit controversial however, I applied to participate in the exhibition.
In order to submit, after going through the process, you are then required to take out a membership @ £45.00. This is in addition to the £10.00 per artwork ..maximum of three artworks.
I was not accepted, obviously my art is not good enough for them!
I appreciate art is subjective.. however..Perhaps if I had painted some wooden sticks and nailed them together on a board, this would have appealed to the judges more?!
My concern is that you have to take out a membership to apply. It’s certainly a good way to generate income and membership!
I think the fair way, with respect to the artists, is to submit your artworks and pay the cost of each submission, and if accepted, the membership fee is incurred.
In my opinion, this is just another example of organisations capitalising on artists!
