点评：Arundel is an old market town located on the Arun River in the County of West Sussex and the region of the South Downs.
The sign welcoming you to the beautiful city of Arundel says "Famous Historic Town" and I must say that its nearly 1000 years old Castle is truly magnificent both inside & out.
The Castle dominates the scenery and the old city located at its feet by the River Arun is as charming & quaint as it gets with boutiques, antiques shops, cafes, restaurants & tearooms.
The festival is regarded as one of the top tulip displays in Europe and is set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Castle.
It features a stunning display of over 110,000 tulips across the castle's grounds and gardens with over 120 different tulip varieties, including classic and newer varieties, creating a vibrant sea of colour.
The festival is curated by the award-winning Head Gardener, Martin Duncan, and his team.
The Duke & Duchess of Norfolk commissioned British landscape designers Isabel and Julian Bannerman to design a garden to pay tribute to the 14th Earl of Arundel known as 'The Collector Earl'.
The garden has stunning Italianate terraces, water rills and oak domed pergolas, Oberon's Palace and an amazing display of tropical plantings, opened by King Charles III (the then Prince of Wales) in 2008.
