Absolutely breathtaking
Rakaposhi View Point的点评
点评：I was completely blown away after getting my first glimpse Rakaposhi. It was absolutely beautiful, the snow of it glistening in the bright sunlight and its backdrop of a bright blue cloudless sky.
I saw Rakaposhi from the viewpoint just off the Karakoram Highway.
Rakaposhi, also known as Dumani stands at an elevation of 7,788 meters and is situated in the Nagar Valley. It is unique as it is the only mountain in the world to drop almost 6,000 meters uninterrupted from the summit to the base.
There are some restaurants, cafes and shops here but it wasn’t busy. Perhaps had it been busy, my overall experience may have been slightly different.
I loved enjoying my chai looking at the spectacular view and listening to the river, fed by the melted snow and coming down from the mountain.
It’s a beautiful spot and Rakaposhi gives the visitor a view you’d struggle to ever get bored of.
