点评：JAMBO! Wow, where to start. Firstly if you're considering climbing to the roof of Africa - stop thinking and just do it. Its an incredibly stunning, rewarding and humbling journey. Secondly, complete your journey with this team. I can't big these guys up enough - every person in our tribe cared about us and wanted us to succeed. Our guides were Omary, an awesome guy who counselled me up the barranco wall when I lost my wits (I'm forever grateful for that moment!) and Japeth, the cheekiest guy on the mountain who loves to crack a joke, both were super caring and we would trek with them again in a heartbeat! They kept us smiling and safe on our journey. Their songs gave us life and we would trust them with ours! A shout out to our amazing stomach engineer Piter - his delicious cooking gave us the strength to complete our trek. How he made better chips halfway up a mountain than my local chip shop still amazes me! (you will not go hungry and don't bother with snacks!) Our coffee loving waiter Hance greeted us every morning and meal time with a kind face and smile. Hamisi was our summit night porter and looked after us so well during that final push up the mountain. The rest of the porter team, Baraka, James, Nico, Mathias, Gidion, Gift, Nicanory and Nashion were the superhero's of the mountain - we couldn't have done it without you and we will remember each of your faces forever. Thanks for the singing and dancing - you guys have got the moves!!!
We booked the 8 day Lemosho hike and completed it a day early - this was an option given to us during the hike as we were feeling great. The company covered the cost of an extra hotel night in Moshi at the end :)
Communication with the manager Alfa was great and always prompt, always happy to answer all my questions!
Please before you hike the mountain, consider your tips for these superheroes that work so hard to make your journey a successful, safe and comfortable one
