Taking a Ride on an Historic Steam Locomotive Should Be on Your Bucket List

点评：It should first be said that I absolutely love trains - especially historical ones (subways excluded). When I arrived in Keystone, I made sure to purchase my day trip tickets before the station closed that evening.
The steam locomotive ride is 2 1/2 hours total, taking you from Keystone to Hill City and back. During that ride, you learn all about the train cars you're sitting in, their history, and even some of the mining stories. They sell snacks, via cash, so be sure to bring a little bit with you.
If you choose to, you can get off at Hill City and walk around, picking up the next train about 90 minutes later.
It is absolutely worth staying an extra evening to do this ride, enjoy your time in Hill City, and come back.
