点评：We booked a full-day safari with Roshan, as he came highly recommended by many people. We chose Lunugamvehera to increase our chances of seeing both leopards and elephants while avoiding the crowds at Yala.
I can definitely agree with the recommendations. The experience was fantastic. Roshan is highly professional—he arrived right on time and clearly knows his job! What impressed us the most was his dedication to the safari. He ensures you’re the first (literally the first) to enter the park, which gives you a better chance of seeing animals. We stayed in the park longer than expected, searching for the leopard—which we did manage to find!
The most magical moment was when we encountered a family of elephants. We spent some time with them, just us and the elephants, because Roshan avoids following the crowds. He takes you off the beaten path, ensuring a more private and immersive experience.
The jeep was very comfortable. It’s often difficult for me to sit for long periods, but not this time! The breakfast and lunch were also great—generous portions, and we couldn’t finish everything. The pancakes were especially delicious!
For French speakers, Roshan also speaks French, which is a big plus if you're not very comfortable with English.
Lastly, kudos to his uncle, the driver, who drove from 4 AM to 7 PM with a smile on his face the whole time. What a great driver—thanks for making the safari so comfortable!"
