点评：8-day Leaf peep tour
Actual tour was Fall 2022 or 2023. Tour was promised as superior to any other in the NE. As we toured, we encountered a number of other tour companies ( Gate1 & others) who stayed in the same hotels which were typical. The hotel in Vermont was exceptional.
The planned towns/stops were fine. My rating is based on the fact that our tour director was a nice guy & well meaning as far as the actual tour itself. Unlike other coach tours I have been on, we had no prep for each town, other than videos, from stop to stop. ( he was returning to the field after being in corporate for several years). In retrospect, I feel he should’ve done a more prep work for actual tour guiding.
We did miss one complete stop at a cheese factory early in the tour. We also missed the tram ride up the mountain in Conway due to poor planning.
Our bus driver had to be prompted to help people down from the bus each time and never bothered to clean up the bus or the bathroom each night, even after several requests.
I hope these matters, which were detailed to the owner after the trip, were addressed; and that Northeast Tours can be the company they promised to be.
