Excellent, relaxing get-away! Happily recommend for 'glamping'!

点评：My wife and I spent a very relaxing 4 days in yurt #10 (secluded, on a peninsula). The spot was gorgeous -- really the entire property is gorgeous, with scenic views, beautiful patches of wildflowers for their apiary, and some great wildlife. We were visited several times by a pair of bald eagles and were entertained most evenings by kingfishers chasing each other around. We also saw a seal or two.
We enjoyed the hot tub, especially after exploring the area in kayaks for several hours. Tip: the hot tubs are best used before dusk -- we went in at 8:30pm one day and were quickly chased out by the mosquitos. Late afternoon, however was delightful.
The folks that run the place are all very pleasant and accommodating. We had several great conversations with the owner Glynn and his daughter Kendra over coffee in the mornings.
Tip: make sure you bring your own food. There are few restaurants in the area (DesBarres Manor is excellent, but pricy). There's a small local grocery store but its selection was somewhat limited. Also, bring a flashlight -- the yurts have solar lighting, but the batteries run low on cloudy days.
One suggestion to the owners: include a frying pan with the cooking utensils -- this would allow the guests to make themselves eggs or pancakes on the grill for breakfasts.
