“The Coquet floats your boat”

点评：I wanted to finish my holiday in Northumberland on an high. So I picked a kayak tour trip along the River Coquet Warkworth Castle.
I booked on line and arrived at the centre expecting my booking to be cancelled due to lack of numbers.
I was greeted by Andrew, the kayak leader, After pre brief, the two of us left the centre and paddled our way past a variety of bird life. It was peaceful, tranquil and Andrew’s knowledge of the local area, made a bonus to the trip.
We tuned back, and although the wind had risen, the water a little choppy, we paddled back, close to the shore.
Almost two hours on the water was a great finale to my holiday.
A big thank you to Andrew for his stimulating company whilst ensuring I was safe and sound.
I recommend you can enjoy the experience, and don’t doubt your ability to kayak that far, as I am 80 next birthday 😁!
