点评：Things appear to have moved on since the October reviewers understandably irritated by 6 hour rounds. We played as a fourball the week after some serious rain early in November and got round (with buggies - I do agree these are a good option here, much as I prefer to walk) in 4¾ hours. The course was manageably busy, in fantastic condition and the sun was shining. I've played all round the world and this course would certainly be top 10, probably top 5 for the layout, the views of the cliffs, the sea and the course itself, the heathland feel, the excellence of the greens, just a fantastic golf course. We are all male 10-16 handicappers, and we played off the 55 tees, ie the 5500 metre course. In line with many modern courses gender has been removed from the tee identifier and you pick the length of course you think you'll enjoy the most. I would recommend leaving the testosterone out of it and be true to your ability. Trust me, a mid handicap player will find the 5500m course very challenging yet entirely playable. We had the most enjoyable experience, I could play here every time and never get bored. Bloomin marvellous.
