点评：People who had been to Cork told us to visit Nano Nagle Place.
It didn't disappoint...
Nano Nagle place, tells the story of Nano Nagle a very inspiring women. We booked a guided tour, we had Mary as our guide, she had a wealth of knowledge and it was evident she had passion and love for Nano Nagle and what she has done for the poor people of Cork and the legacy that lives onto day.
Mary was a very welcoming lady, and advised of other places to see around the city.
After the guided tour we went back and read from lots of the interactive boards.
But a self guided tour is good, and there's plenty to read & see around the grounds.
There's a seating area in the museum that has books to read an reflect on. We loved this.
There's a great restaurant on the grounds, but booking is advisable,
Teas & coffee can be bought in the museum shop.
The gardens are beautiful, there's a serenity to Nano Nagle place.
Leave your self time to visit Nano Nagle place. It's not to be rushed.
It's near to St Finbarres Cathedral and the Elizabeth fort.
At the moment there's a display from action aid Ireland, telling the story of women around the world who live in adversity, who were resilient, and are managing to give something back in dangerous situations.
