点评:Visited with 4 & 2 year old.
We didn’t go for a special event / farmers club so I can’t comment on anything like that.
The highlight was the amazing surroundings, such a beautiful spot.
Parked easily.
Lovely area by the cafe for kids to play including an old tractor, little mud kitchen and water table.
Not many animals to look at - we spotted ponies, pigs and geese only.
Some of the picnic tables were very worn and look like they are on their last legs!
The worst part of the day was the food from the cafe. £6.50 for a ham & cheese sandwich- I was expecting a lovely crusty bread kind of thing- it was thin, horrible white bread all slapped together. Awful and they hadn’t even cut the bread in half!
The cakes looked better but the savoury stuff is too expensive for the very basic unappealing food offered.
For the hot drinks - no lids when I visited so they got cold very quickly.
I would come again though (just not to eat) as the countryside really was lovely to sit in (coming from London especially).
