Don't waste your money and time. What a mess at Fyre Lake golf course

点评：I'm not typically a review person but felt I needed to share this with others so they know. We were told by others that Fyre Lake some really cool golf holes, and it turns out that's about all they have.
A relative and I played at Fyre Lake this week in the afternoon and to say that it was a S**t-show would be giving the place a complement. The only staff available seemed to be some high school (maybe college) aged kids taking our money. No starters or rangers or any direction given.
Apparently, instead of hiring rangers on the course they've decided to use those funds on highly annoying golf carts that ding and make alarm sounds every few minutes that include condescending messages about entering no drive areas, filling divots, and pace of play. Which didn't seem to help as the group in front of us took entirely too long to play. We waited almost every shot and ended up finishing in about 5 hours.
We were told by many that the course conditions weren't great this year as the wet weather has had a lasting effect, unfortunately this held true. 75% of the course or more was cart path only. The greens were decent and rolled well, but there were many tee boxes and fairway areas that were in sad looking shape. Many bunkers had draining issues with standing water in them, and the rough was so long all over the course that it seemed to be neglected to the point that balls hit in the rough were unplayable or lost (including around every green). The group in front of us seemed to be looking for their golf balls on every hole.
The $70 rate was just not worth the views of the lake and the sitting around in our dinging cart.
