When we contacted them they were very responsive, as we planned something last minute. So that’s a big plus. We really were looking forward to our day but unfortunately it did not turn out as planned.
Firstly we didn’t had a good connection with our guide. We asked about the safari popssibilities and he tried to sell himself and was all doing mysterieus. We don’t like that. Then we were told we were cycling 22km, we ended up doing almost 50km. Normally not a big deal, but you only go on gravel roads. With gravel I mean seriously very very very bad roads (we were not informed about the road conditions). It was terrible and we both were in pain at the end of the day. Partially this also comes from the bikes. The bikes itself were good, but the seats were terrible. Very very hard.
It was fun to go through the villages and see the people. A lot of kids were running with us. We liked it but we felt like our guide was telling them to back off. That was a bit sad. Also our guide didn’t said a lot about the surroundings.
We paid $35 per person extra for lunch and a boat trip. In our opinion not worth it. We were under the impression that we would do a small tour on the lake, that’s not correct. We just went from a to b on the lake for the lunch. So not really a boat trip. We were very disappointed. Lunch was okay-ish.
Finally for the two day trip on the twin lakes they asked for $850 (total)! This is ridiculously expensive. So we did a day tour which costed “only” $90 per person including lunch and boat trip.
