Bike and hike to Drivandefossen waterfall. Be prepared and enjoy!

点评：Great waterfall, but also quite the trek to get there!
We had reserved city bikes for all day with Adventure Tours way in advance. Good thing, because they sold out as I believe they're the only vendor in Skjolden. We also read the reviews with how to get there. Be sure to follow signs for Morkrid and follow to a small wood sign for Asetevatnet. Turn left and turn left again at the next Asetevatnet sign into the parking lot. This was not easy to find.
The trailhead is to the side of the parking lot. So, this isn't a meandering trail up a small hill. Quite the opposite. Make sure you have good shoes/hiking shoes, flexible pants and water. It's straight up and then switchbacks, all the while dodging piles of sheep poop. Did I mention it was wet? Even though it didn't rain, it was wet. And, evidently, sheep are quite healthy and poop a lot in this region. Between sliding from rock to rock and dodging dog-like piles of poop, it was quite the adventure.
The waterfall was amazing, though. The view of the valley was also cool. It took a good 1-1.5 hrs to hike up after the 6km one-way bike ride to get there. Make sure to bring water and a snack, that'll help! Would do again, but better prepared next time.
