Another disappointing visit
AMC Dine-In Holly Springs 9的点评
点评：We normally drive and extra 20 miles to avoid this theater, but gave it a shot today.
It’s AMC, so we know it’s not going to be cleaned well, that several seats are either broken or ripped, and that every feature is preceded by at least 20 to 25 minutes worth of coming attractions and other commercial.
We know the snacks and food are priced at movie theater levels.
What we didn’t know is that some days you have to wear your winter coat while watching the film. Literally, my wife had to exit the theater, go back to the car and get her coat to watch the film.
I heard the couple closest to is complaining about the cold.
After over an hour, without any correction from the staff I sought out the manager.
The manager was busy hanging out up front and sent some flunkie in a bandanna style doorag to check it out. He of course told me the heat was on.
As we exited the corridor and entered theater 7, there was a sharp decrease in temperature, which he said was normal. It’s not, but I didn’t bother to argue. He said nothing else and walked out. No apology.
25 minutes later the theater started to warm up.
I understand it’s hard to find good staff, but there’s no excuse for piss poor customer service.
Avoid this theater.
