点评：WON'T BE GOING BACK.. Called in this evening just after 8pm 19/12/2023 and Stood at the bar for 10 minutes, nobody about, other people waiting so I checked the kitchen and smoking area for a staff member but nothing.. Called the pub phone which went straight to voice mail, left a brief message saying people were waiting to be served at the bar and then waited another 5 minutes, Still nobody about and as it doesn't take 15 minutes to change a barrel left The Star and Garter thirty and went to the Sun Inn on the island to find 4 Barstaff serving politely and efficiently with a smile + glass collector, great atmosphere, other ex customers from the Star and Garter I know personally at the bar and lots of food being served in the restaurant = 10/10.
And they wonder why the Star and Garter Stafford is empty 🙄
PUB MANAGEMENT 101 = You can't put money in the till if there is no body to take it..
Won't be going back anytime soon and I would suggest that anyone who values respect and customer service does the same.. VERY DISAPPOINTING, but on the upside, the Sun Inn has four new regular customers 👍
And they wonder why the Star and Garter Stafford is empty 🙄
