Nice falls and good (easy) hiking opportunity near Sudavik

点评：This is a waterfall that can be visited by way of a marked trail at the end of the Álftafjörður fjord around 8km south of Súðavík and 25km southeast of Isafjordu. That makes for a nice bit of outdoor hiking and time in nature for those planning to stay a day or two in the area.
The trail to the falls begins at the carpark directly off Route 61 south of Súðavík. You walk through a valley, river raven and scrubby areas eventually into a boulder filled canyon leading to the Valagil Falls. The trail is around 8km out-and-back. You'll see lots of Artic terns and other birdlife throughout.
Note: For those with less time, There is an impressive falls around 30 minutes into the hike that you can make way to see before turning back. Otherwise, if you have the time, its worth making way into the canyon and up the river towards the falls. Do wear proper footwear. Gloves can be helpful as well once you reach the boulders. Otherwise, it is mostly a flat and fairly easy trek.
