Be Careful of All-Gender Restroom!
西雅图水族馆的点评
点评：I will start with the all-gender restroom as it was a major disappointment. This is located in new building with no other single-family bathroom (I didn't see, at least). You have to leave the entire building go back to the old building for women and men's restrooms. How inconvenient.
The side stall walls did NOT go all the way to the floor. For people with ill-intentions, this is giving them access to those intentions.
To be a 10 year old girl, being distracted and not securing the lock or have some other malfunction, to have a MAN walk in on you vs a woman is so horrifying.
I witnessed a man walk up to the restroom entrance, see the signs and turn around as he obviously felt incredibly uncomfortable.
Finally, the aquarium itself is just ok as far as country-wide aquariums go. The new building was an improvement with the older building desperately needing an upgrade. I felt many enclosures to be too small for the animals and lacking in decor and it left me feeling bad.
The staff was great and everyone was helpful and eager to answer questions. The cafeteria staff could have been a bit more attentive, however.
So, in all, I would say it's worth a visit once.
