Where did the animals go and why were attractions closed????

点评：We are members of the zoo and highly disappointed with our visit on Sunday, June 1, 2025. There were hardly any animals on display. No monkeys, only one zebra, one otter, and the kangaroos were very lethargic acting. We are also very confused on why waterfall junction was closed at 1:30 on a nice warm weather Sunday afternoon. The zoo was actually paying two people to sit by the closed waterfall play area and do nothing except make sure no one was playing on it. The waterfall was flowing so not sure why they had it closed. Many disappointed kids and our son was looking forward to playing on it. Also the sky high rope course was closed that we were planning on doing with our son for the first time. I am sorry that we renewed our membership prior to this visit. They need to focus more on the animals and getting more animals for some of the habitats and less on spending money on the new sky ride and restaurant. People want to see more animals when going to the zoo. Hardly any of the animals were playful like we normally see at other zoos and many seemed lethargic. This zoo was much better in the past and I have been visiting almost every year for over 35 years.
