Very nice small pebble stone beach with clear blue-green water. Family friendly and fairly good for snorkeling.

点评：Very nice small pebble stone beach with clear blue-green water. The bottom is made of beautiful white sand some meters out in the water. But bathing shoes are recommended. We stayed here for 2 weeks, from end June to beginning July. And the water was quite cool the first week, perhaps 22 degrees C. But very refreshing since it was around 30 degrees in the air. The second week the water got several degrees warmer though. There is a fair amount of restaurants and beach bars close by too. Only drawbacks is that it’s just by the end of the airports runway and the planes take off over the beach. But it didn’t disturb us since its not a vert busy airport and we thought it was a bit cool to see the planes take off.
There are some fishes if you want to go snorkeling, but the area close to the airport its not best beach for that activity. But you can walk along to beach toward Pythagarion, and there is a nice small beach with rock formations and much more fish to see. It was quite windy at times too, but that was also mostly refreshing. The water was quite calm during our entire stay, even in spite of the sometimes strong winds. It’s relatively shallow too, so quite a family friendly beach.
